Bangkok has a huge number of gay bars and gay clubs. Silom is Bangkok’s gay nightlife capital its also where you find can the some of the most popular gay saunas and gay popular hotels, especially the party guy hotels.
There are three streets every gay visitors to Bangkok must see; Silom Soi 2 & Soi 4 and Soi Twilight. Silom Soi 2 is home to the largest and most famous gay club in Bangkok, DJ Station. Just down the street is Silom Soi 4, Bangkok gay bar street including the famous Telephone and Balcony Bars. Soi 4 is great for cheap drinks, people watching and making new friends before heading to the clubs.
Soi Twilight showcases Bangkok’s naughty side. This street is full of Red Light gay bars, which can open the eyes of an experienced traveler. Visit Bangkok Boys, Dream Boys, or Tawan to watch some of their inventive raunchy shows.
Any potato queen looking for a taste to the local gay scene, where you could be the only foreigner in the bar, check out Fake Bar or G-star.
Being a true gay capital Bangkok hosts a number of gay parties and circuit events throughout the year. Asia’s largest gay circuit party, gCircuit is held in Bangkok during Thai new year, Songkran, in April every year. White Party Bangkok takes over New Year and Bangkok’s very own G-Spot Entertainment hosts cool local events throughout the year.
